After early breakfast we will drive from mekele to North about 100km towards the massive Gheralta mountains after a shor stop to visiting the old church of abreha wa Atsbeha we will drive to dropes you at the point where we will start our 5 days Trekking. Before we start the trek we will have snack at the bottom of the mountain, after our snake we will continue the trekking about 2-3 hours to visit the church of youhans Maqdi.

After earlay breakfast by our professional cook trek to the colorful decorated church which is dated back to 7thc, AD called Abune Abraham and after lunch in the top of the mountain continue trekking admiring the wonderful view, wildlife and traditional Tigray house to reach Mariam papsite, we will experience of the typical tigray people way of life if you are interested you will be invited to one of farmers house for Ethiopian coffee or to experience their life style.
After visiting that church continue trekking to the base camp about 4 hours. over night camping under the big tree.
After early breakfast we will start our adventure trekking to rich the highest mountain in Gheralta called "kamer" which 2700 meters above sea level where we can enjoy the view towards the 4 corners of Gheralta mountains . after lunch in the top the mountain continue trekking to visit the oldest church which is dated back to 4th century AD called Maryam korko and Daniel korkor.
Over night camping in the top of korkor mountain with the monks and nuns where you can enjoy the best sun set ans sun rise views. 7 - 8 hours trekking.
After early breakfast in the top of the mountain by professional cook continue trekking admiring the wonderful view, wildlife and traditional Tigray house to visit one of the well-known church in gheralta called Abune yemat after lunch continue drive to axum or mekelle.
